Infusing

And here we are at Ironwood, getting my Benadryl and getting woozy.  Here is my traditional chemo picture:

LOOK! I think I detect CURL!  I should call Blanca and make an appointment for a trim.  I know it looks short enough, but it's growing in weirdly, and can use a little shaping up. :)

Oh, lordy, I had to pay my entire deductible when I got here today.  How had I forgotten it was a new year!?

Talking to Darita again, whose husband also works at Boeing.  We're so thankful for health insurance, despite the increase of the cost for us.

Well, the Benadryl is really hitting me today, so I'll close this post with a wish for great happiness to everyone that reads this blog.

  1. Hey Girl
Great pic, I too detect a little bit of curl. I love the color. I did not know you before so have no idea what your hair was like, but I have to say I think you suit your hair right now.

I hope this round of treatment is not too rough on you. It must be hard. I do so wish they would find a way to bypass the rest of the body with the meds etc and just target the cancer. I know they do it with prostate cancer with the seeds and all and with the cyber knife. I just wish they would get a grip already and find something that works, sorta like just taking a pill.
Anyway, I am jealous of your weather. We are waiting for yet more snow, it is supposed to come between 2am and 6am so I guess Chris will be sitting at the dining room table again doing his meetings.

Keep those doggies safe from the big birds, they would make a nice snack with some salsa.
Be safe and have a good weekend

  2. Hi, Fay! You guys are really getting blasted this winter, aren't you? I think it's Mother Nature's way of welcoming you to the neighborhood. :)

Man I felt really blechhy after that infusion yesterday, but tons better today. Only one week more before I head back to work... oh lord. :D

    Keep warm and safe!
    T
