Cataclysm!

Jane and Nancy went out last night to get our Collectors' editions of WoW Cataclysm, and I have spent the morning playing my new little Goblin Warlock, Gremolata.  I have to say that this couldn't have come at a better time:  It's taking my mind off the esophagus pain. :)

So, today is Radiation 27 and tomorrow is number 28 and I am done for a month! YAY! Just checked my temp and it's at 96.6.  I run low.  I have to take it every day, as we have to avoid any infection of any type and hit it hard with antibiotics if one happens.  Hard to believe I've been doing radiation for almost six weeks, and it's only been this last week that's been really hard on me.  That's not bad, not bad at all!

And now, back to playing.... :)

Huge hugs to all!

  1. Girlfriend, just read your blog for the first time in days. Been moving into the new house. Geeze, we moved from Gilbert on 17 Sept in 110° temps, had the furniture delivered yesterday from storage and it was 36° with snow flurries. Yikes, I was freezing in the house with a sweater and coat on while they trucked our crap in.
I am so happy that you are getting some positive results. It is very encouraging, hopefully all will go well and the treatments will have been worth it.
Gotta go for now, I am typing this in the basement sitting on a packing box and it is bloody freezing.
    Speak at you soon
    Fay

  2. I got goose-bumps reading that, Fay. :D

Yep, yep, if I can keep the lungs in good shape, I could have another couple of years in me... or more!!

I finally filled the prescription for the Miracle Mouthwash... kinda leery of it, though, but I tell you, if I can't sleep, I'll be slurping that stuff in an instant. :)

Keep warm, my friend and enjoy the new home.
