Sumo Legs

the Decadron that I take to keep the brain swelling DOWN, has given me Sumo wrestler legs.  This is actually quite uncomfortable.

Soon it won't be a problem any more because once the radiation does its thing, we can begin a taper off of the decadron and my normal legs will return YAY!

Looking forward to the Golden Globules, if only for Ricky Gervais again.

Tomorrow we return to our daily radiation schedule, brain and thigh zappage at 2:10PM.

Sorry, tired, but love and hugs to all.

  1. I cannot believe they brought Ricky back, I love him cause he is a Brit and very funny. After last time I thought they had learned their lesson, more fool them. He is good though and there is a large element of truth in everything he says. It should make for an interesting night.

Shameless is on tonite too. This was another adaptation from a Brit show, I have to say though I like the American one better. Macy does a tremedous job as the father. Love this show, so irreverent.

I am glad you are hanging in there and feeling ok. I hope the radiation works and makes the pain much less. Let us know how it goes.

  3. Yeah, I can only imagine what it feels like sweetie. I do so hope it gets better. I know what it is like to just have swollen ankles, that sucks, but like I said I cannot imagine what you are having to deal with. It is just amazing sometimes what our bodies throw out at us.

How are your temps down there in AZ right now? It was 17° here yesterday and it did not get too much above that. I had to go grocery shopping, man it sucked. Some days I miss the sunshine sooooo much.

How goes it with Hospice, are you all set up yet? I have got to think that is the right way to go. Unfortunately some people leave it too late. I would want it early I think, they do so much good for the whole family. As far as I am concerned it is a no brainer, get em in.

I hope your days are filled with happiness sweetie.
I hope the pain goes away.
I hope the sumo legs go away.
I just hope you get a little bit of respite from everything.
Keep writing and letting us all know what is going on. We are like sponges out here, just waiting for any small thing to know you are ok.
I will speak at you again later, have a great day
Lots of loving thoughts and peace to you and your family today
